Born in 1986 in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. In 2010 he graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and immediately was invited to the group show “Ars Homo Erotica” in Warsaw. His first solo exhibition “Zimowa opowiesc” took place at Zderzak in 2011 and revealed a typical for the artist atmosphere of romanticism and decadence: palace`s interiors, winter landscapes and portraits of movie actors as historical figures. On the similar mood was held his second solo exhibition “The Composition of Paintings” (2013, Zderzak Gallery), which attracted many art lovers and collectors. In 2013 he received an Award of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship`s Marshal at Eugeniusz Geppert Competition.
Stokłosa`s inspiration comes from mass culture: B movies, television series, and pornography. His pictures are sensual and intelligent, they allure and repel, they have multiple false bottoms, just like any good noir film. His pictures and spatial objects have already found their way into many private collections.
